This tank features a "frisco" style mid tunnel so that the tank sits just right on the backbone of your frame. Un-drilled front and rear universal mounting tabs keep mounting this tank simple. Popular screw in style gas cap bung, single 3/8" NPT and dual rear 1/4" NPT petcock bungs give you plenty of options for petcocks and gas caps. You cant go wrong with this classic styled gas tank!
Even though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory, it is recommended to seal before painting! Also, assure there is no stress on the tank or mounting hardware when the tank is mounted. Mounting kit also available.
Mid Tunnel Tank dimensions are as follows; Tunnel Width 2 1/8", Length 15 1/2", Depth 2" in the rear, approx. 4" in the front.
