Description

The XSCharge permanent magnet alternator kit replaces the Yamaha XS650 stock charging system with a solid-state, permanent-magnet system. It provides 200 watts of charging output and can run with or without a battery when used with a suitable capacitor kit.

Fitment

• Fits 1980-1983 Yamaha XS650 models running aftermarket cam-timed ignition systems such as XSCharge or Boyer
• Will not work with the factory Yamaha TCI (CDI) electronic ignition
